ESCP Europe hosts the first Creativity Marketing Research Seminar for 2013

The Creativity Marketing Centre (CMC) at ESCP Europe Business School is hosting a series of academic research seminars in London for spring 2013, focusing on new, exciting, and creative topics and approaches to the broad field of marketing. The seminars feature leading academics in the field to discuss their current research with the CMC team and guests.

Dr Eric J. ArnouldEric Arnould of the School of Management at Bath University, UK and the University of Southern Denmark kicked of the series with the seminar 'Consumer fetish: The symbolic imaginary of consumer research'. Twelve marketing faculty and PhD students from Cass Business School, ESCP Europe, London School of Economics and Royal Holloway attended the seminar at ESCP Europe's London campus, while four marketing faculty followed the proceedings via video link from ESCP Europe's Paris campus. Feedback from the audience showed it to be an enjoyable and stimulating event.

Continuing in that vein, our next seminar on 5th March will feature Kristine de Valck of HEC Paris business school on the topic 'From Service-Dominant to Practice-Dominant logic of markets: Exploring the interplay of human and non-human agency in the creation and evolution of a lifestyle sport market'.
