Irene Ng

Irene NgIrene Ng is an academic and entrepreneur. She has a BSc. Degree in Physics and Applied Physics from the National University of Singapore and a PhD, specialising in economic pricing models also from National University of Singapore. In her early career, Irene was CEO of SA Tours and Travel group of companies (Singapore, Malaysia, China and UK) and founded Empress Cruise Lines, a company with an annual turnover of USD250m, which she sold in 1996. She is currently the Director of Institute for Product and Service Innovation and the Professor of Marketing and Service Systems at the Warwick Manufacturing Group, University of Warwick. She is also the founder, Chairman and Chief Economist of the Hub-of-all-Things (HAT) Foundation ( and the inventor of the HAT, a private microserver for individual-controlled personal data. Professor Ng is an advisor to several large organisations, startups and governments on design of markets, economic and business models. She is one of the ESRC/Innovate UK Caucus Thought Leaders ( the ESRC/AIM Services Fellow and the ESRC/NIHR Fellow. She has written 3 books, published in top journals, written in highly acclaimed scientific magazines and blogs, and well known for her academic papers that have steered the discipline of marketing, service operations and its roles in the digital economy and the Internet of Things. Jonathan Chippindale

Jonathan ChippindaleJonathan Chippindale is Chief Executive and a Co-Founder of Holition. Formed as a venture start-up to explore and expand the role that technological innovation can play in communicating with today's new digital consumer, Holition is a synthesis of luxury marketers, retail specialists and cutting edge leaders in innovative and emerging digital technology. They craft premium digital experiences  and specialise in Augmented Reality (AR) for pioneering luxury, fashion and beauty organisations including Richemont, LVMH, Kering, Uniqlo, Coty Inc and Swatch Group. Jonathan is an External Industry Advisor and Visiting Lecturer at Central St Martins and the British School of Fashion, a member of the London College of Fashion Digital Think Tank, as well as advisor to the University of Cambridge Digital Compass.

Terence Tse

TerenceDr Tse is an Associate Professor of Finance at the London campus of ESCP Europe Business School. He has lectured executives and post-graduate level students in top business schools among them ESCP Europe Business School, Cambridge Judge Business School, Vlerick Business School, Aalto Executive Education as well as companies including YIT, Rexam, China Merchant Securities, France Telecom, Yahoo!, Indian Oil, and Indian Railway. These lectures brought him to different countries including Austria, China, Finland, France, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Syria, Tunisia, the UK, and the US. His approach to the subject of finance and economics tends to emphasise the applications of concepts, and, as a result, often receives accolade from students especially the executives.

His teaching approach also reflects his industry experience. Currently, he is advising the European Commission and the European Parliament. Before joining academia, Dr Tse worked in mergers and acquisitions at Schroders, Citibank and Lazard Brothers in Montréal and New York. He also worked in London as a consultant at Ernst & Young focusing on UK financial services. Additionally, as an independent consultant, he advised Shell International, F&C Asset Management, Alliance Boots, Alitalia as well as a Cambridge University-based biotech start-up.



Giovanni Scarso Borioli

Giovanni Scarso Borioli is a full-time member of the Faculty in London, teaching Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, PSDM (Problem Solving and Decision Making), Business Transformation and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

After graduating and undertaking an MSc in Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, Giovanni spent several years working as Project Manager; he then completed his business studies at ESCP Europe, where he participated to the 2006 edition of GMP (General Manager Program). He has then undertaken his doctoral studies at University College of London in the field of Management of Strategic Change Programmes, completing hs PhD in Novemeber 2016.

Giovanni is also an active management consultant and he works with international companies in fields such as Telecommunications, Healthcare, Automotive and Services.

His research interests concern the implementation of large-scale strategic change Programmes, and particularly the implementation of lean management and sales force transformation. He is also working in the field of agile strategy development and lean innovation.

Hsin-Hsuan Meg Lee


Hsin-Hsuan Meg Lee teaches, researches and advises on digital marketing with a particular focus on self-presentation and interactive communications between companies and consumers. Her works address brand communities, co-creation, corporate social responsibility, and social media strategies.

Hsin-Hsuan Meg Lee is the Co-Director of ESCP Europe's MSc in Marketing and Creativity (MMK).

Valerie Moatti

ValerieValérie Moatti is a full-time Professor in the Information and Operations Management department at ESCP Europe Paris Campus. Her teaching areas are Supply Chain Management, Operation Management and Strategic Management. After graduating from ESCP Europe with a Master in Management, she held various positions with Procter & - Gamble and with Pinault-Printemps-Redoute over a period of 8 years. In particular she was responsible for development and venture projects within the Strategic Planning Unit of Pinault-Printemps-Redoute. After a PhD in management science at HEC (December 2005), she became Assistant Professor at ESCP Europe where she developed Supply Chain Management courses. Her PhD dissertation dealt with growth strategies and more specifically the choice of expansion mode (internal growth, mergers and acquisitions and alliances). Her research covers growth strategies and the interface between strategy and supply chain management. Part of her work extends her dissertation and analyzes the impact of alternative modes of expansion on corporate performance. She is also looking into the circumstances that lead a firm to choose a specific mode of expansion rather than another. Her current main research focuses on the social and environmental dimensions of supply chain management. Her current work focuses on the sustainable dimension of supply chain management. She is the author of articles (published in Strategic Management Journal, European Management Journal, International Journal of Logistics : Research and Applications, and Management, Business Strategy and the Environment, Supply Chain Forum - An International Journal…), book chapters and communications at international research conferences (Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, Association Internationale de Management Stratégique). Separately, she founded the "Supply Chain Monitoring Unit" in cooperation with BearingPoint and Supply Chain Magazine and Supply Chain annual  - summer Forum in partnership with Supply Chain Magazine. Celine Abecassis-Moedas


Céline Dora Abecassis-Moedas serves as an Associate Professor of Strategy and Innovation at CATÓLICA-LISBON School of Business and Economics and an Affiliate Professor at ESCP Europe. Mrs. Abecassis-Moedas has over 15 years experience working with corporations (consulting, teaching executive education and sitting at corporate boards). She was an International Faculty Fellow at MIT Sloan School of Management and an Assistant Professor at Queen Mary - University of London. She worked as a Management Consultant at Kearny in London from 2000 to 2002 and E-Business Product Manager at Lectra in New York. She started her career at France Telecom Research Lab. She serves as a Lead Independent Director and Independent Director of Papeles y Cartones de Europa S.A. She has been a Non Executive Director of CTT - Correios De Portugal, S.A. since August 9, 2016. She has been a Non-Executive Director of José de Mello Saúde, SA since 2016. She served as Lead Independent Director of Europac (Papers y Cartones Europe, SA) since 2015 and served as its Non-Executive Director from 2012 to 2015. Her research has been published in top international journals. She holds PhD in Business Strategy from Ecole Polytechnique in 1999, Master in Management of Scientific Methods, Dauphine University, Paris in 1996 and Degree in Economics and Management, École Normale Supérieure de Cachan and La Sorbonne in 1994.
