Melanie is an experienced Marketing Communications professional with over 10 years of experience, spanning international brand management, communications planning, media auditing and consulting as well as international Business Development. With great project management and analytical skills and being an effective communicator, Melanie enjoys facilitating operational procedures and thrives on working in a high pressure environment across multi-national teams.
In her present role as Group Account Director in MEC's Business Development team, Melanie is driving revenue for the company across the EMEA region in form of pitching for new client business, organic growth of existing clients and developing prospecting clients. She is actively involved in building MEC's Business Development community, sharing best practice, training local markets and managing Business Development Forums. She has also developed a global reporting platform to track new business performance and is currently launching a secure platform to share best pitch practice across the network.
Melanie holds an MSc from the RWTH Aachen in Marketing and International Management, and wrote her master thesis in Economic Game Theory and Distribution Politics. Further accreditations from IPA and PAC where her team was awarded best team in 2010.
Melanie is multicultural by origin and international by experience. She speaks German, English, French and Czech and has been a London resident for 10 years now. Future aspirations are to continue travel the world and nurture her creative side and entrepreneurial thinking.
